Simple Sweater

Hello there everybody! Happy day and happy fall. The leaves are changing to lovely shades of yellows and reds, the skies are chilly and covered in clouds, and the air is windy yet peaceful. It is one of my favorite times of the year, not only because pumpkin pie sits on the dinner table or Halloween is right around the corner, but because of the STYLE! Yes, sweaters, hats, oxfords and did I say sweaters? Today I looked outside and saw the beautiful day ahead of me. The air smelled fresh and cool and the leaves rustled softy in the wind. It has sprinkled on and off throughout the day and I have to say, I love it!

So today when I was scouring through my clothing I decided to go for something cute, and warm. I just bought a couple new (a bit big) sweaters that just make me feel cozy inside. I was in a yellow kind of mood and decided to pair my yellow sweater with some classic polka dots. You really can’t go wrong when picking a base print and a nice sweater to finish off and keep warm on top. I then slipped on some comfortable black jeans and black oxfords. Oxfords are classy and fashionable, and adding them to finish off an outfit, is not a bad idea at all!

Sweaters, prints, and nifty shoes are an easy way to put a quick outfit on that will get you through the frosty fall days of the year.

Before I go I want to share a verse that makes me think of how DELIGHTFUL the outdoors are during this time of year, ” 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.” John 1:3 (NIV) Looking outside this morning and seeing the trees and feeling the breeze, reminds me of how AMAZING our Lord is, and the gift of nature he gives us every day!

Remember to smile and enjoy your day folks 🙂
