Good evening lovely folks,
One of the reasons today was just purely amazing was that it is now winter and there is snow on the ground and it it cold out, which makes me very happy. Winter is my favorite season. I love you other seasons, you are lovely too, but winter you are my pal. Winter is dark and bright, it is snowy, which means sparkly snowflakes, it is chilly which calls for bundling up in cute coats and snazzy leg warmers with printed tights, and it is also the time of year where we have Christmas, and all the wondrous holidays. Today I took the opportunity of a few days old, but still fabulous and glittering piles of snow around a few pine trees and did a little twirly or two in a vintage-y bright red floral swing dress.
I am wearing a red and black floral dress with a mainly white backdrop to the fancy flowers that decorate it from top to bottom. Red is a magnificent color, it is bright and stands out. I love that the dress is long as well, which is perfect for winter and an extra speedy spin. I am wearing black flats, because they match anything and they look classy with my dress. I put on black tights for added style and of course, warmth! There is snow on the ground. 🙂
Now I love lots of prints and designs, so I added a black sweater which adds warmth as well, but it has a cute little zebra on it. The sweater does not look crazy with the flowers, I think the zebra goes nicely as there isn’t too much print. Trying to put prints together that look nice and not overly crazy is pretty fun, and crazy really does look nice too. I gave the outfit a pearl necklace with a tiny black ribbon tied in a bow as it goes along with the vintage look, and pearl earrings. Pearls are classy and match anything. Hats are another great accessory that just make and outfit even more stylish. This hat’s black and white color and big bow couldn’t match better to my overall outfit! 🙂
Now that it is winter I love waiting for days where I look out the window and see snowflake after snowflake glisten it’s way down to the ground waiting to stack into a freezing and sparkly blanket over the land. I become quite excited when I see a snow coming because it just calls for dancing in it. What could be better than a spin the snow, and letting the snow fall upon your cheeks? It is such a happy feeling, at least too me.
You know what is also great about a spin in the snow? It is dancing and dancing is amazing for it is a way to show our love to God. We can dance for him and dance because of him. 🙂
Psalm 149:3 “Let them praise His name with dancing; Let them sing praises to Him with timbrel and lyre.” NASB
This calls for putting on our fun dresses and going for a twirl in the snow! God is amazing. 🙂
Merry Christmas folks!
Molly Marie 🙂
