A Hat to Top it Off

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen,

Today is a very calm day for me, and I am definitely enjoying it. You could definitely see that I am taking it slow, recollecting my thoughts and just plain getting things done. I feel good. Taking days to just regather are important. I hope you are able to have one of these days here soon, and I hope you feel good too.

This week had been quite busy for me. So I had an audition and a callback within the past couple weeks here for a play. The play is called Arsenic and Old Lace, have you heard of it? It is a classic. I absolutely find it hilarious. Just last week I found out I received the role of Elaine Harper, and I am quite blessed. I have only had two rehearsals thus far, but am enjoying it immensely. Do what makes you happy.

How have you all been, how was your week, how is your week?

This outfit I am wearing, and of course spinning in, is extremely appropriate for the weather, well at least where I am. The light blue denim screams this time of year. The off the shoulder and extra fabric hanging around the shoulders is so adorable and flowy as well.

My lipstick matches the barn. Is that an aesthetic? 🙂

If you look toward the bottom of the stress there is a little pattern too, quite cute I think this is. This dress already has many little extra sweet aspects about it, I did not think any jewelry was really needed. I actually do not recall if I am wearing pearl earrings or a necklace, but it certainly doesn’t need it at all.

I am wearing tan tights, because I love tights, I just love ’em. I am wearing blue wedges that match the pastel blue of the dress, and wedges are also very weather opportune.

Now there is one accessory that I just had to add, well not really, but I did want too. It is a hat!

The hat is weather suitable too! Oh my goodness, hehe, I saw it is also good for shade. I mean look at it. It isn’t exactly small. It isn’t the same blue as the dress, but hey, that is fine. Different shades go together. I believe the shoe actually has some dark blue in it. So I guess from my head to my toes this outfit just matches.

Sometimes in life we go through hard times. There are ups and downs. I have moments of so much gladness and I have moments I struggle. When we have God in our life, those moments of gladness are so much easier to find and keep. God blesses us with his love and if we trust him it will surely get better.

I have had my ups and downs all life, but especially this year. The past few months I have gone from feeling down, to feeling quite cheerful, to feeling upset, to feeling confused, to feeling excited, to feeling happy, and to feeling everything in between. Not everything is easy, and that is okay. Through all my life and especially these last few months here, God has been with me through it all. He knows what is best for us. I struggle sometimes to see why things happen the way they do, and I realize why they do and end up so happy with the outcome. However, sometimes I do not understand why things happen the way they do. Either way, I smile, I am happy, I feel good, I know God knows what he is doing, he is there for us, and knows what is best for us.

Twirl in your favorite outfit and feel God’s and Jesus’ love with me. I hope it makes you happy!

1 Peter 1:8-9 NIV

“8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9 for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.”

Have a hopeful day!

Molly Marie 🙂
