It is okay to be “corny”

Hiya all my friends,

How is life for you? Is anything exciting happening, or are you creating your own excitement? Currently, I am working on my passions and just trying as hard as I can do to the best at everything I do. The small things add up please remember that.

Now sometimes we have bad days and there are many options in how we can carry on with our day feeling a bit blue. What helps me is doing my hair, doing my makeup (for example putting on a bit too much red lipstick, actually no, there is no such thing as too much red lipstick not if you don’t think so), putting on a sparkly dress and then dancing to music that makes me feel plain good.

It isn’t always easy, but finding simple ways to make the day better adds up.

Here I am twirling in front of my dad’s garden. I am wearing quite the interesting of pieces. This is a blue sparkly dress that I got for homecoming one year in the past. I love it and it feels very dance worthy for those moments that we don’t feel the greatest and I think it is very cute. I threw on (gently put on, really) some pearls and because I love hats, a ballcap. It doesn’t match the dress. It is much more casual than the dress. That doesn’t matter. I feel good. I feel happy. Clothing should make you feel confident and happy. Honestly, I think ballcaps look nice with sparkly dresses, contrast is fun.

I am wearing little white tennis shoes and white bobby socks. Again, this is a lot more casual compared to the dress and pearls, but opposites can definitely look nice together I think.

I put my hair in a ponytail and slipped it through the hat. It is easier to dance when your hair isn’t always in your face, right? Actually, maybe that makes it more dramatic music video-ish, with your hair flying in your face, oh ,I don’t know. Whatever floats our boat. πŸ™‚

I “planted” myself right in the corn for this picture and I think that makes me actually and officially “corny”, right? Oh, I have a love for puns. Like I said earlier, it is the small things that can add up, and make us feel good.

In the days when I don’t feel the best, God is where I find immediate positivity. He will never leave us. His love and Jesus Christ’s love shine down on us daily at every hour at every second, and they want us to do well, and smile. This makes me feel better no matter what.

Isaiah 41:10 NIV

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Have a beautiful week!
