Ah, you know what today was right? Today was Solar Eclipse Day! Now where I am located, I was not able to see the whole eclipse, however I got to see about 80% coverage and that is still amazing. My dad got our family the special glasses and I think they make a great fashion item, hehe. Did you see the eclipse? I absolutely love space and anything related, so this was a pretty cool experience for me. In 7 years I will be able to see the full eclipse from this area, and 7 years is a long time, but hey, it could be 107 years, right? 🙂
Well, I am not going back to school, however my outfit today definitely has a school girl appearance, and I love it. Now if you are going back to school or starting a new anything, do not fret please or feel mad, perhaps put on your favorite outfit and try your best to feel as great as you definitely look! I love plaid, and traditional school outfits. So I am wearing a plaid dress, and it is my favorite type of plaid, red, and black and white colored plaid. I think this is classic in the case of plaid, you know?
I think prints can collide, different prints, and here I have a little black heart shaped printed sweater, short sleeves, which means not too hot, yet it is still warm as it is a sweater. There is also a collar which gives more classic appeal to the plaid outfit.
I have black tights and black oxfords on with my outfit. Oxfords are one of the most school girl wearing plaid type of shoes out there in my opinion. I do think anyone can wear them and with anything, but in this case, I think they are one of the best choices of shoe for the outfit, they look just right. I chose black shoes and black tights as they are simple and let the plaid and heart sweater stand out more. I also have my pearls in, of course, with a black ribbon tied around my wrist for a cute bracelet. If I wanted to have a hair bow for later, my bracelet will certainly suffice. I have a dinosaur mood ring my father got me on as well, I think quirky tiny additions that show off your personality are awesome accessories. Also, dinosaurs are educational animals and this is a kind of school girl inspired look.
I hope no matter what your fall brings, you feel awesome!
Feeling awesome isn’t always easy to do, especially when we feel in dismay. Guess what, though? Having faith in God and hope, helps us focus on the present and lean on the understanding that while we may be in fear and uncertainty, God is by our side all the way and all the time.
I know going to school in a new year can cause stress, or starting a new job, or just plain taking a chance on something whether it be going someplace new or taking on a new skill, but doing things that make us slightly unsure can be learning experiences and lead to positive outcomes. We can have hope, knowing sometimes we come to circumstances in life for a reason, and God will help us through.
Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
For I know the plans I have for you. declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Have a hopeful week friends!
