You Can Move Forward From Your Sin

Hello everybody,

How are you doing? I wanted to post about sin today. I have been struggling myself in many areas lately, I don’t know where to move, where to go, and honestly I don’t know what is holding me back. Though, I have God who is helping me.

One thing that I never want to hold me back is my past sins.

Sin is bad. Sin is wrong. We should NEVER strive to sin, or sin because “we can” and are forgiven. No, we need to strive to AVOID sin, and because of our God’s endless and everlasting love and Jesus Christ’s love for us, we ARE forgiven.

Sometimes there are moments out there in the world where certain sins are pointed out more profusely than other wrong doings. This to an extent can turn ridiculous depending on the context. A sin is a SIN!

Please, do not get me wrong. Yes of course some sins are far worse than others, however it is the word “sin” that still encapsulates many transgressions.

We all sin.

Ah, but the thing is, God knows it.

Our Lord God and Jesus Christ are perfect. None of us are perfect, no, not at all. Although, God loves us all perfectly anyway, knowing despite the wrongs we come across or partake in, he still loves us and he forgives us.

Do not be mistaken. The forgiveness that our Lord God and Jesus Christ have shown us is not an excuse to go around committing crimes. To try and live a kind, and good doing and NOT wrong doing life, a life where we are helping others and not hurting others for our gains, is the life I hope we all can strive for, want to strive for, and will strive for.

Nonetheless, sin can creep up on us. What we need to do is not give in. We need to turn to God and try not to let sin come back and ask for God’s forgiveness when we are covered in sin. God willingly gives us forgiveness all day long.

For my attire I am wearing a jumper. This makes it a whole lot easier to jump for joy when thinking of God and Jesus Christ’s love for us, as no worry will come from a dress possibly flying up and about.

While all of us fall short of living a sinless life, we can work hard everyday remembering God gave his one and only son, Jesus Christ, to forgive our sins and we can attempt every second to be good doers.

John 3:16 ESV

Taking it Slow

Hey ya’ll,

I want to share a little hope with you about finding an calm mindset when we are faced with the world of busy hour upon hour, going from one place to one thing to the next all the time. I know I find myself getting caught up quite too much in the future as well as the past. Why do I do this? I cannot change the past, for it is over and done with, and I cannot always expect to control the future. So why do I get caught up in my ever so many thoughts of uncertainty about things I cannot control or change?

I cannot ever say I will know the complete answer. I do know, however, that I do this sometimes because I am not always happy about the present. I thank God all day for my blessings, and I have positive occurrences all the time surround me, although, somehow, there is still an ever present stress about being plain ol’ stuck. I then look to my past to reminisce about nostalgic and cheerful memories and I look forward to the future for the comfort knowing, it’ll get better, it’ll get better, and it’ll all work out. These thought processes, both of them, are just fine, and healthy, but when I fall into this mindset trap and only think about my past and future, I fail to recognize the moment I am in and I do not enjoy it as God hopes that we do.

Whenever I come to a point in my life where things are so happy and my future seems to exciting, sometimes the smallest event can make me feel like the brakes were hit, and I am stopped and cannot go on. These moments happen. This is a part of growing and finding our right path. Perhaps, if the brakes didn’t stop you, you would have gone right past the road you were supposed to take. God wants us to pursue our hopes and dreams, but he knows what is best for us, and he will help us and take us there, but we have to trust him.

Going to the past for hope and going to the future for hope are awesome, they are apart of us forever more, but only going to these two places for hope may not be helpful. Staying in the moment and looking around may help you notice what you are going to miss out on or not take a chance on if you let your mind drift to places you cannot currently change.

Lately, I have felt confused. Plain old confused could be my middle name these days, hehe I am kidding. Nevertheless, I am definitely not taking a traditional route as an 18 year old. I am not currently going to college, no, I am working and saving money as I have many dreams, one of them being an actress, one of them being a fitness instructor, one of them being a business owner, one of them being a pilot, one of them traveling, one of them baking, one of them being a writer, and so the list goes on. I try my hardest to work on these the best I can, but my hope sometimes seems bleak due to not always being in the position to move forward with these hopes due to my job situation and my schedule and life. However, that is okay. We do not need to rush life. God has me where I need to be, I have to trust him.

God wants us to enjoy everyday. Everyday is a blessing from him. Let’s stay present and feel the sun on our faces and breathe in the fresh air. Let’s take it slow, however if you are riding a bike, you may not want to take it too slow as to not lose your balance and then fall off your bike onto many rocks and small green insects who are ever so grateful you did not fall on them.

We do not need to rush life.


My outfit here is simple, folks. I have a cute Audrey Hepburn tank top on, shorts, very comfy shorts I might add, a ball cap of the navy nature and my teapot necklace for an added accessory. Even if you are bike riding, it is alright to still want to dress a little fun.

I hope you remember to realize you have today to make as special as you, as you are special and slow down and feel it as God hopes.

Nature is Nice

Hi everyone!

Hello, how have you been enjoying your week? I hope you have enjoyed the week looking back upon your days as a whole. While there are hard moments at times, the happy moments make it all worth it, don’t you think?

This picture turned out better than expected, but just as I had hoped, considering I was a bit in a shadow and couldn’t exactly see where I was aiming, hehe. 🙂

Lately, I have been really admiring these pink petals. Every time I go down on the path, which is a lot, I pass so many trees changing to beautiful springtime colors of purples, whites and pinks. It makes me very happy.

I catch myself wanting to stop and take pictures of every springing plant, but then hold myself back. Really though, should I? There is nothing wrong with having a camera gallery stocked of bazillions of colorful plants and flowers. It would be a rather cheerful app to look at, I suppose.

When I see these gorgeous and lovely changes in nature, I do love to stop and think. I take a break. Nature is nice, and nature is a great place to refuel the mind. Can I use refuel there? I think it works in a “let the mind rest and rejuvenate and just relax” kind of way. Okay, all those words started with a “r”. I love little incidences such as those.

Whenever I do pause and take in the beauty God created on earth all around us, I feel so much better and leave with a smile in my mind. One little tree can make a day happier and leave me feeling fresher. It is amazing what God can do.

Wow! God has so many good things in store for us, appreciating the moments he created for us outside in nature is just one of those beautiful creations he is giving us everyday, and it gives me hope knowing his love and remembering all the gifts he gives us everyday, like the pretty pink petals on the tree.

Feel The Feeling

Hello, hi, my friends,

How are you? I hope you are feeling happy. Today I know I am feeling really happy. It has warmed up outside and I had the chance to hop on my bike and ride away. Whenever I am feeling upset, riding my bike is a way for me to “deupset”, and “rehappyify” myself. I breathe in the fresh air and take in everything and the beauty around me that God has created for us in nature.

I feel glad.

Riding my bike is a simple action I am able to take to release any feelings that are holding me back from smiling as big as I possibly can. I let myself feel all those emotions and eventually they turn into happiness, because I realize everything I have to be happy about.

I know sometimes it is hard to want to get up and do something when feeling down. However, going and doing something you love or discovering a way to make yourself feel good and others as well can really be helpful. It is okay to feel emotions that make you feel not so well. Nonetheless, you can turn those feelings into happy feelings by letting yourself just let the upset emotions and stressed emotions in and feeling them, but while doing something you love and this way happy feelings emerge soon after and you feel so much better.

I could ride my bike forever. 🙂

If you find what you love, it is so much easier to be happy in times of not so happy feelings.

I hope you feel happy soon. If you struggle with those happy feelings, remember how much God and Jesus Christ love you, they love you so much.

Ease into Happy or Go Full Force Ahead

Hi everyone, my friends and all fabulous folks,

It is Saturday. Saturdays are swell, I mean it is another day which means another opportunity to  have the most splendid day ever! Sometimes I have a hard time though when I feel like I am not having the most splendid day ever. Why am I not having a better day? I may think this to myself, but I need to push that aside. I need to find ways to make myself happy. I can start off by being thankful for having a day to even try to be cheerful and deciding “I am going to be happy” and then I can go and do things I love.

These things can be small. I can get stressed when I have a few things to get done, even if they are small and I know logically I can get them done quickly, and sometimes I even enjoy doing them, however it still gives me that uneasy feeling. Well, to ease into being happier and taking away those stresses, I like to dive in right away and do everything I need to do until I know I will be able to stop focusing on every detail I feel I need to get done. Right now I have the tab open to my microeconomics online class, it isn’t due until tomorrow, but I know if I get it done right now, I will feel a whole lot more accomplished. I actually really enjoy the class, anyhow, it is just the thought of something being due that makes me a tad stressed, just a tad. I do find it a thrilling class. I love math and story problems which is a lot of what that class holds. 🙂

I don’t like waiting around and dwelling. If I am feeling a little down I pop up and get going. I start cleaning, I turn on some upbeat tunes and start my day. Jumping right in to a happy attitude and into happy actions definitely eases my stress and eases me into being much more happy.

Being out and about helps makes me happy as well. I mean going to the gas station can make my day better, I just enjoy being around people and seeing things and experiencing things, no matter how small.

Once I grab my purse, I am out the door and ready to continue my happy day! 🙂

What makes you happy?

Knowing that God and Jesus Christ loves us makes me happy too. God created today and gave us today, I want to be as happy as can be! 🙂

Doing Good, and Feeling Good

OOOO, I mean, BOOOOO and Howdy Doo friends! It is Halloween time folks, and that means full time pumpkins, cloudy skies, colorful leaves, scary skeletons and jumping ghosts! I love the cozy feeling this time of year brings and it also brings a sense of calmness and relaxation to me. However, I still get stressed. Yes, due dates, events, parties, chores, and still wanting to obtain enough sleep and have a fun filled fall, are all things that are here all year around. Now, these “stresses” don’t need to be the main focus of life though. I know even when I have parties and fun events to go to, I get stressed thinking, “Oh no, now I have to see if I have time for this and that and that and this”, and I don’t realize I’m thinking too much about something I need not too. Inside I know everything is going to work out okay, but for some reason my body doesn’t think so. That is why there are definitely ways that help me just feel good whether it be praying, watching movies (Captain America, I love you), or eating handfuls of chocolate chips, yummm. 🙂

This morning I was able to get my mind off of everything I have going on and focus on doing good and feeling good. This morning I helped volunteer with my friend for an hour or so. Volunteering to help other people out is a beautiful thing. You’re helping others, and making them feel good, while also making new friends in the people you’re helping and feeling good by knowing they feel good. I used the word good quite a bit there, but it’s true, helping is good. Helping others helps me feel good because I can know inside that I’m making their day better. I can also take my mind away from all the other things that need to be done or will be happening in the future that may be causes of a little stress.

By doing good, you can help yourself feel good, it’s a good thing. 🙂

Now, another thing that makes me feel good, is pumpkins! Golly, I love pumpkins, they are a great fashion accessory, hehe. I recently made the trip to a pumpkin picking patch with my father and picked out this one, which he bought for me. It’s a plump and happy looking pumpkin, I felt the need to hug it. Perhaps, pumpkin picking and pumpkin hugging could be a nice and new way to destress?

Pumpkin you are so cute. You are also so orange. 🙂

If you have a way of feeling calm in moments of stress that is lovely. Helping people helps me, as well as pumpkin hugging. The smallest helping hand from you can be the biggest helpful hand to someone else. 🙂

God loves when we help others, it makes him feel good and it makes us feel good. That is good! 🙂

It’s a Quick Day and a Lovely Day

Hello folks, good afternoon, it’s finally fall! I feel happy all year around, but when fall comes around I feel a sort of happy that I just love absolutely. Pictures of pumpkins come to my mind, the smell of baked goods come to my nose, and nights of dancing with my team at football games on cold nights bring a smile to my mouth. I love fall. 🙂

Looking outside I see the sunshine and I see the green grass, I see my little doggies being cute, I see a great day for riding my bike and I also see a great day to be happy. Sometimes when I have a lot going on, I get a little nervous and forget to do things that make me feel good. Today I tried not to think so much about everything going on today, tomorrow and the next day. Today I woke up, got dressed and got to talk to a couple of my lovely friends which definitely left me feeling even better.

When we have family, friends, people, anyone, in our life that we can talk to and leave feeling happier, I think that’s a beautiful thing. Hanging out with my friends and talking for the time we did, made me forgot about everything I have going on and just enjoy having lovely people in my life. I hope you all have those people too, and know that having them around is a great way to feel happy, and if not, I would love to be that person you can talk too, and be happy. 🙂

Now family and friends make for a lovely day, but what makes for the quick day I mentioned in the title? A easy outfit that is. I didn’t feel like thinking to much about my clothes this morning, I wanted my outfit to be cute, yes, but I also wanted to leave and hang out with my friends. I didn’t want to have the trouble of looking for a perfect outfit. Afterall, my perfect outfit may not be your thought of a perfect outfit, and that’s what is perfect! 🙂

I have a black and white fit and flare style dress with a blue and white polka dot cardigan on. Polka dots are a lovely way to add fun to an outfit. Then my shoes are pink/purple flats, which add even more color to an outfit, which I don’t think there is anything as too much color. I think the quick pairing of this outfit was okay, it’s cozy and cute. 🙂

Suddenly Smiling

Hi there friends! So today I was walking down the halls of school, just dwaddling on my way trying to get to my class on time. I was excited for school to be over, even though I was prepared to have another night of after school activities. However, I was looking forward to these activities because I chose to sign up for them so I don’t know why I had any feelings of not wanting to go.

At the same time I was walking down the hall I probably had school work, my hunger, and the fact that I had to go to the restroom all on my mind. I tried looking at the positives, to stay stress free, but it was difficult, I’ll admit.

Then suddenly this thought came into my mind. Maybe it was the bright sky shining through the giant windows that gave me a happy smile, or maybe the fact that I realized I love my next classes and what I have to do after school. For some reason, my mind let me acknowledge all the good things I have to look forward to. It put my dread of going to this then that to ease. I know what I sign up for, is my choice. I do what I want to do because I WANT TO.  I decide what I am going to do and not my friends, not my cousins, not my favorite teachers, not the people walking around the park, not even my little dog.  (yeah, he probably wouldn’t do much, he’d just bark a bit, then bark some more) will force me into something I don’t think is right.

The point is, I don’t want you to feel stressed to go out an do anything you don’t fully love. I have been apart of various clubs or made plans that I don’t really want to do with all my heart. You know what happens then? I feel upset and angry that I put something else on my schedule that takes away time from what I really enjoy.

Walking to choir made me smile, because a light shined bright on all my negative thoughts about constant commitments and multiple activities. I thought about what I was looking forward to and overall I become more cheerful for the rest of the day. Do what you love to do, be apart of the things you love, because you will have more smiles. Do the right thing. You like theatre? Do theatre. You don’t like theatre? Don’t make yourself.

Be happy. Smile. (please!) 🙂

I love this verse (following this paragraph) because it to talks about love. We may not always agree with someone on something (like what activities we should be apart of in school), but we don’t have to hate them for it. It reminds me of what I talked about earlier. I may think I should join the cast of a musical and someone else may say it isn’t good for me at the moment. Instead of focusing anger on that person for not seeing it my way, I can try and see from their point of view. They have their opinions, I have mine. Some people like being on stage. Some people like being backstage. We all are different, but we all can still love one another. It isn’t hard at all. God wants us to love each other. Let’s spread the love!

The Power of Prayer

Hello and Happy October my friends,

How are you? Good, I hope. No, great, I hope! For me I have been quite a busy bee these past couple weeks and I feel great, but now that I have some time to sit and relax, that is just fine and great by me too.

Well, I want to talk about the amazing gift we all can accept and participate in, that is prayer. If you know me, or have been following along with me, you may know I have had struggles I have dealt with, particularly over this past year and have gone through a rollercoaster of changes, but everyone goes through struggles, everyone, and that is normal, that is fine, and that is okay. The way we respond to our difficult moments that come to us in life and when we find a reason to smile and truly feel that smile’s power is what matters and what matters is how we carry on.

Sometimes it is not always easy to keep faith and a hope that we will indeed make it through our hardships, but please hear this, we can. We can make it through, and during the moments were are pushing through, we can find comfort. One of many ways I find comfort is prayer. You can never, EVER, pray too much. Our God loves hearing us, helping us, and healing us. It may feel like no one is understanding to us at times, but we can always find solace in the knowing that God will always understand and be there for us.

There are pieces in our lives where we may feel our prayers are unanswered. This is when we need to be patient. God knows what’s up, he is going to help, he hears us, and while our prayers may be answered differently than we had originally planned, that is okay. God has the best plan.

Prayer is powerful, and prayer is a comfort we can use to turn to God and his help.


My outfit here is one of my most confident oozing outfits I have. It is my black and white gingham, straight down dress, and no flare and I paired it with an adorable pink sweater, which is warm and fashionable. The sweater has little bows on the back as well. I put a thin black belt around my waist to give a silhouette, but keep the outfit from looking to bulky, and the sweater poofs out a bit for a cute vibe below the belt. I have black tights and white and black short heels on for a classic look. Now this dress is what I wore, and the day this picture was taken, was the day I got an awesome job offer! Now this is in relation to what I said about prayer, I never thought this is the type of job I would be working in this part of my life, and I never expected to receive a job offer like this, but God answered and gave me what is best for me, and all I needed was to have faith and be patient.

Hanging out with Nature

Hello lovely people,

How has your past couple of days been? Lately, I have been feeling a little caught up in confusion. Honestly, I am quite lost, I am trying to work more, which consists of the ever many applications, interviews (hopefully), the wonders if my current jobs will still be able to work out if I get more hours somewhere else, the worries that perhaps my other events in my schedule won’t work with a new job, and all over, just growing up and feeling emotions about all sorts of happenings. You know what, though?

This is all okay.

Every part of life will consist of of ups and downs, and this is what keeps an ever changing interest of growth. God is with us all through life, we are not alone. In moments where we may seem lost, as I do often, we know he is with us, helping us and we have no need to be worried about being lost. We will be okay. We have to keep going.

I look around outside and marvel at the beauty God created everyday. Honestly, God is always with us and looking outside is an easy way to realize this is true. Going outside and feeling the fresh air and hearing the animals do their thing, is relaxing and refreshing.


My outfit today is quite nature-esque. You know why? I feel like a woodland fairy in it. This is a dream of mine, to be a woodland fairy. I think this is a very valid dream, folks.

Well, I am wearing a puffy taffeta lilac skirt to start with. If this skirt doesn’t say fairy of the woodland variety, I don’t know what does. I love this skirt, it keeps it’s shape, has an adorable big bow belt, and the fabric makes a squishy sound when ruffled, which is just a fun tiny bonus.

Nature, you make a comfortable bed. 🙂

For my blouse, I have a purple, multicolored purple and green loose flowing blouse on, which I tucked into my skirt. The greens and purples all cohesively make a rather earthly aesthetic, I think. The blouse also has a little tie bow up towards the neck, which I love. The neck bow is not incredibly noticeable so I believe it is okay to have a bow on the skirt and blouse without looking to crowded.

I have my Cross sparkly and pink bracelet on, because it is meaningful to me, as it reminds me of Jesus Christ’s and God’s love for us all throughout every moment. Having a small piece of jewelry or item on us that has meaning to us is a way to keep a smile on our faces in times of trouble.

I also have teardrop earrings in that are the color of my birthstone, amethyst, that my mother bought me. Purple is definitely the main color of this outfit. Of course I also have a dinosaur mood ring on, I believe this on is my Triceratop one. This unique pieces really add to any outfit and make it your own.


I have nude tights on, and my saddle shoes. My saddle shoes wouldn’t normally be my first choice for a more spring and fairy-like outfit like this, however I thought, why not? I put them on and they looked like they were made for this outfit. Sometimes you may not think something will look good together, but why not try it, it may surprise you.

Well, I hope you are feeling better than okay. If you are not, do not worry, please. God is with you. You will be okay. Hopefully better than okay.

Whether it be going outside and listening to the sounds of nature or even glancing out at the wonders God created, I hope you find a piece of joy today for your heart to stay happy.

Don’t Be Mad Just Wear Plaid

Hello folks,

Ah, you know what today was right? Today was Solar Eclipse Day! Now where I am located, I was not able to see the whole eclipse, however I got to see about 80% coverage and that is still amazing. My dad got our family the special glasses and I think they make a great fashion item, hehe. Did you see the eclipse? I absolutely love space and anything related, so this was a pretty cool experience for me. In 7 years I will be able to see the full eclipse from this area, and 7 years is a long time, but hey, it could be 107 years, right? 🙂

Well, I am not going back to school, however my outfit today definitely has a school girl appearance, and I love it. Now if you are going back to school or starting a new anything, do not fret please or feel mad, perhaps put on your favorite outfit and try your best to feel as great as you definitely look! I love plaid, and traditional school outfits. So I am wearing a plaid dress, and it is my favorite type of plaid, red, and black and white colored plaid. I think this is classic in the case of plaid, you know?


I think prints can collide, different prints, and here I have a little black heart shaped printed sweater, short sleeves, which means not too hot, yet it is still warm as it is a sweater. There is also a collar which gives more classic appeal to the plaid outfit.

I have black tights and black oxfords on with my outfit. Oxfords are one of the most school girl wearing plaid type of shoes out there in my opinion. I do think anyone can wear them and with anything, but in this case, I think they are one of the best choices of shoe for the outfit, they look just right. I chose black shoes and black tights as they are simple and let the plaid and heart sweater stand out more. I also have my pearls in, of course, with a black ribbon tied around my wrist for a cute bracelet. If I wanted to have a hair bow for later, my bracelet will certainly suffice. I have a dinosaur mood ring my father got me on as well, I think quirky tiny additions that show off your personality are awesome accessories. Also, dinosaurs are educational animals and this is a kind of school girl inspired look.

Feeling awesome isn’t always easy to do, especially when we feel in dismay. Guess what, though? Having faith in God and hope, helps us focus on the present and lean on the understanding that while we may be in fear and uncertainty, God is by our side all the way and all the time.

I know going to school in a new year can cause stress, or starting a new job, or just plain taking a chance on something whether it be going someplace new or taking on a new skill, but doing things that make us slightly unsure can be learning experiences and lead to positive outcomes. We can have hope, knowing sometimes we come to circumstances in life for a reason, and God will help us through.

For I know the plans I have for you. declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

It has sprung already into August. Summer is coming to its end, but fear not, we have a few more weeks left, unless of course you are looking forward to fall. I know I am. A cool breeze, cloudy skies and pumpkins everywhere is an absolute delight to me. I know the weather isn’t quite 80 degrees all day, anymore, and the skies are already deciding to rain more and more. I am quite alright with that.

Are you looking forward to the autumn months?

Besides going back to school, if you are doing that, or just the thought of autumn weather, I love fall because it is the start of the holiday season. I completely love Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I mean from the decorations to food to activities and everything in between, I  feel quite cheerful.

Now I am wearing a more toned down, and polished look here, but still cute and fun. The dress is a dark navy, very professional, but it has a longer sleeve with a little flare and shoulder cut out, which brings a more carefree look to the dress. I paired a black belt to give my waist definition as the dress was a tad flowy and I thought an extra accessory couldn’t hurt.


I have pointy toed blue velvet shoes that match the dress perfectly. I think their little belt clip adds to the the fun aspect with their sweet detail. I have a beige tight on, I love tights. Also, if it gets cold, you are extra warm and it is almost autumn, hehe. Not quite, but I like the thought.


Pearls are always acceptable to any outfit, when I say acceptable, I really mean match, even if they don’t. ALWAYS! So I have my pearl earrings in and my teacup necklace. It is blue and adorable. I think I kept the look almost as if I look like I could go to a meeting about important matters, but go get a sandwich and shop later.

I also have a unique purse on my shoulder. It is a heart shape with a nifty chain strap and a vintage map print. How neat, I thought. It gives the whole look more interest.

I think I will definitely wear this outfit many more times. It is super cozy as well. I feel very comfortable in it, if the need calls, I could run, even with those heels, they aren’t too high.

As I said earlier it is becoming chilly. Chilly as in weather of course is what I was referring too, but it is also easy to become chilled in the way of scaredness, and uncertainty. The fall is coming, new things may be coming, we do not always know what is coming. That is okay.

God has plans for us. We don’t have to stop working hard, we don’t have to stop trying, we don’t have to stop going for our dreams, and we most definitely do not have to be scared. We can continue our journey into life, but when we let God in, he will help us. He shows us the way. How can we be “chilled” with God on our side?

We cannot.

We don’t need to sit back and relax and not stress, we still can do the things that frighten us, but things that will help us grow. For me going to an audition can be frightening, but to achieve the goal of getting a role I have to go. I have to face a fear. I always end up being happy I went. God is there with us all the way. Even if we feel nervousness and uncertainty he is there. That is a calming feeling.

It is okay to be “corny”

Hiya all my friends,

How is life for you? Is anything exciting happening, or are you creating your own excitement? Currently, I am working on my passions and just trying as hard as I can do to the best at everything I do. The small things add up please remember that.

Now sometimes we have bad days and there are many options in how we can carry on with our day feeling a bit blue. What helps me is doing my hair, doing my makeup (for example putting on a bit too much red lipstick, actually no, there is no such thing as too much red lipstick not if you don’t think so), putting on a sparkly dress and then dancing to music that makes me feel plain good.

It isn’t always easy, but finding simple ways to make the day better adds up.


Here I am twirling in front of my dad’s garden. I am wearing quite the interesting of pieces. This is a blue sparkly dress that I got for homecoming one year in the past. I love it and it feels very dance worthy for those moments that we don’t feel the greatest and I think it is very cute. I threw on (gently put on, really) some pearls and because I love hats, a ballcap. It doesn’t match the dress. It is much more casual than the dress. That doesn’t matter. I feel good. I feel happy. Clothing should make you feel confident and happy. Honestly, I think ballcaps look nice with sparkly dresses, contrast is fun.

I am wearing little white tennis shoes and white bobby socks. Again, this is a lot more casual compared to the dress and pearls, but opposites can definitely look nice together I think.

I put my hair in a ponytail and slipped it through the hat. It is easier to dance when your hair isn’t always in your face, right? Actually, maybe that makes it more dramatic music video-ish, with your hair flying in your face, oh ,I don’t know. Whatever floats our boat. 🙂


I “planted” myself right in the corn for this picture and I think that makes me actually and officially “corny”, right? Oh, I have a love for puns. Like I said earlier, it is the small things that can add up, and make us feel good.

In the days when I don’t feel the best, God is where I find immediate positivity. He will never leave us. His love and Jesus Christ’s love shine down on us daily at every hour at every second, and they want us to do well, and smile. This makes me feel better no matter what.

A Hat to Top it Off

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen,

Today is a very calm day for me, and I am definitely enjoying it. You could definitely see that I am taking it slow, recollecting my thoughts and just plain getting things done. I feel good. Taking days to just regather are important. I hope you are able to have one of these days here soon, and I hope you feel good too.

This week had been quite busy for me. So I had an audition and a callback within the past couple weeks here for a play. The play is called Arsenic and Old Lace, have you heard of it? It is a classic. I absolutely find it hilarious. Just last week I found out I received the role of Elaine Harper, and I am quite blessed. I have only had two rehearsals thus far, but am enjoying it immensely. Do what makes you happy.

How have you all been, how was your week, how is your week?

This outfit I am wearing, and of course spinning in, is extremely appropriate for the weather, well at least where I am. The light blue denim screams this time of year. The off the shoulder and extra fabric hanging around the shoulders is so adorable and flowy as well.

My lipstick matches the barn. Is that an aesthetic? 🙂

If you look toward the bottom of the stress there is a little pattern too, quite cute I think this is. This dress already has many little extra sweet aspects about it, I did not think any jewelry was really needed. I actually do not recall if I am wearing pearl earrings or a necklace, but it certainly doesn’t need it at all.

I am wearing tan tights, because I love tights, I just love ’em. I am wearing blue wedges that match the pastel blue of the dress, and wedges are also very weather opportune.

Now there is one accessory that I just had to add, well not really, but I did want too. It is a hat!


The hat is weather suitable too! Oh my goodness, hehe, I saw it is also good for shade. I mean look at it. It isn’t exactly small. It isn’t the same blue as the dress, but hey, that is fine. Different shades go together. I believe the shoe actually has some dark blue in it. So I guess from my head to my toes this outfit just matches.

Sometimes in life we go through hard times. There are ups and downs. I have moments of so much gladness and I have moments I struggle. When we have God in our life, those moments of gladness are so much easier to find and keep. God blesses us with his love and if we trust him it will surely get better.

I have had my ups and downs all life, but especially this year. The past few months I have gone from feeling down, to feeling quite cheerful, to feeling upset, to feeling confused, to feeling excited, to feeling happy, and to feeling everything in between. Not everything is easy, and that is okay. Through all my life and especially these last few months here, God has been with me through it all. He knows what is best for us. I struggle sometimes to see why things happen the way they do, and I realize why they do and end up so happy with the outcome. However, sometimes I do not understand why things happen the way they do. Either way, I smile, I am happy, I feel good, I know God knows what he is doing, he is there for us, and knows what is best for us.

A Little Bit of a Blue Hue

Good day, good day!

Once again, I ask? How are you? I really am interested to know. My past week has been quite exciting, but yet I shall continue to look forward to this upcoming week and hopefully it will be filled with more excitement to come. I dearly hope you are finding cheer. Hobbies are indeed a great way to keep our cheery smiles up. I have honestly, about one billion hobbies. However, that would take far too long to list, so alas, because it would probably be easier to list what are not my hobbies, I will tell you one for today. One of my favorite things to make myself feel better is getting outside. Even if it is 80 degrees or 10 degrees (oh my goodness), I find the heat or the chill drifts away from my mind as I wander about nature and my mind starts falling into thoughts and hopes of what may come. Hearing the silence of the snow falling or the wind blowing and raining drizzling or birds chirping and bicycles passing, can be extremely calming and helps me focus on what I need to think about, what really matters and come back with a new outlook and be ready to do what needs to be done. Now, remember wear your coat if it is 10 degrees and wear no coat if it is 80. Actually, you just do what you feel. Maybe you feel hot in 10 degrees and cold in 80 degrees. I don’t know. Fahrenheit, I am referring too. 😉 What is a special hobby to you? 🙂

The attire I am wearing for this little post is not my normal every day wear, yet it is. That makes sense, I know. 🙂 Now, this dress is a more fit forming dress, but I love it. It is rather comfy and is a relaxing length for me.

Balancing on those wedges is actually quite confidence boosting, hehe. 🙂

The dress is a black and white. I absolutely love black and white. However, I wanted to add some color. I was feeling color, you know? So I decided on a nice light blue. I found blue wedges (of multiple blue hues), a big blue bow, and I am wearing my Tiffany’s necklace, which has a silver heart and little, you know it, blue heart, with little Tiffany labeling.

What an interesting garage door! Am I building a rocket ship behind this garage door? You will never know. 🙂

I only added three little pops of color, but it definitely lifted the outfit up in a summery way, but honestly, it could almost be wintery as well, it just depends on how you look at it. With black tights, and my pearl earrings, I finish the look off. I really loved wearing this outfit, plus the wedges are extremely fun. I don’t wear them often enough, perhaps.


Now this picture right here is rather silly. However, I think it is incredibly important to remember to be silly. Whenever you are brought down, remember the easy ways to stay positive no matter how hard. A silly grin, a silly story or even the word silly are silly little easy ways I hope can boost you up in hard moments.

God wants us to be happy. His blessings surround us, and if we find them, they can bring our spirits up greatly. I hope you feel his blessings, and I hope you have a happy heart.

A Bright Smile

Good night, I should say, at this hour, well at least for me,

How was your week? Was it exciting? Adventure filled? Maybe it was relaxing. I hope it was good, nevertheless for you, actually I hope it was fabulous. My week was full of busy, which I love, but there are a few things I think I need to personally work on, and one of those is rest. While I love being on the go go go, I need to learn to be a little more, rest rest rest. I guess it will take practice practice practice. A good way for me to relax is actually just laying on my bedroom floor and listening to either instrumental music or ballads. I find it rather unwinding, and usually wind up with more energy afterward. Which having more energy is helpful for my go go go schedule.


Well, anyway, the outfit I am wearing here is very happy in my opinion. Whenever I wear yellow it gives me endorphins, hehe. Endorphins make me feel great, so if you can get endorphins by simply wearing more of a certain color, I say, why not? Yellow is one of those colors for me. The dress is a swing dress, but it has cute little cap sleeves, which adds a nice touch and helps my shoulders become less touched by the sun, just in case. I love you sun!

To jazz up the endorphins, I wore red, a dark red, pair of tights. I love adding color, and a dark red is very lovely in my opinion. Work with the colors you enjoy. The colors that give you endorphins can bring you a bright smile, so why not wear those colors?


My shoes are wedges, and wedges are a superb summertime shoe, and they also are polka dot! Polka dot is my endorphin print! Also, polka dots go with anything. I am wearing my pearls, simple, but still fun. Then my favorite part of every outfit is if it includes a hat! I had to wear a very summery hat with this bright yellow dress, so I chose a straw and floral hat. The color of the flowers doesn’t really match any other colors I am wearing, but oh well. I think the theme of light coloring against the dark tights all blends nicely. If you think it looks good, your opinion is what matters!

Now remember when I said it is good to relax? Well, God doesn’t want us to worry either. God knows what’s best, so I want to listen to him. God loves us, and wants the best for us. If we listen to him, we can find relaxation.

The Classics Forever

Hello, hello my darlings!

I am here and writing to you in a very cheerful and happy mood. I am in the kind of mood where I feel just plain positive. I have been having a somewhat hectic schedule lately, and while I love busy and crazy, sometimes it means I forget how important it is to do several of the things I love, like sharing my love of God with this blog, and positive feelings. I am here, I am back, and hopefully here to stay.

How have you been? I hope well. If not, let’s start off with a very calming Bible Verse.

Whenever you are feeling rushed, upset, stressed, nervous, or overwhelmed with the events of life, please remember God is there for you. He is there for us. While we may be having dealings in life that are not as pleasurable or exciting to come across, we can have peace and an inner positivity knowing that God is with us and will help us through. 🙂

A new outfit is also something that can give you a little happy in your step, I find as well. Today’s outfit is one of my favorites. It is simple, but I do not think it is boring. Keeping everything in life exciting is much more fun anywho, right? I love classic style so I went very full on 1950’s.

It is time for a twirl! 🙂

My dress is a pink swing dress, all plain, but with a very cute tie bow in the back that adds extra and lovely detailing. I am wearing no hair accessories except that of bobby pins, because I wanted to show off the back bow, but I believe I did a subtle vintage hair look just by pinning back with little twirls the sides of my hair. I am wearing red and pink lipstick combined for a girly and retro look. I added pink lipstick to tone down the red as the pink of the dress is quite pale and I didn’t want to look bright colored in regards to my makeup choices. However, do what you please! You are unique. It is fabulous to standout and I like to standout. 🙂

I am wearing a single strand pearl necklace and pearl earrings, because they are sweet and give the classic look a little more pizazz. You cannot go wrong with pearls.

Simplicities are not simple, they are classic. 🙂

I have nude tights on and finished off with the ultimate retro footwear; saddle shoes and poodle bobby socks! While both comfortable and vintage, I find them both very appealing with any outfit, especially this one. Black and white and light pink are very pretty and classic colors together in my opinion.

Remember while clothing is definitely a way to bring your happy levels up while keeping you feeling true to you, our Lord and Jesus Christ are our true happiness level bringer uppers forever! Take comfort in knowing they are with us. They love us.

Stay Smiley

Hello, Hello folks,

Are you enjoying springtime? The sunny days, the blooming flowers, and of course the stormy nights, are making me smile. Lately, I am becoming more and more hopeful about everything in life. I consider myself a hopeful person, but it has become easier these past few weeks. I believe that comes from my faith. I have been a bit weary of how to go about just about every decision these last several months, but through prayer I have become less stressed and open to new possibilities. God has a plan, and I choose to trust it.

Whenever there are tough times or a lack of hope, find a way to stay smiley. Prayer helps me immensely. I also feel great just getting outside a bit. The smell of the fresh breeze and the passing of cute ducks and chipmunks, brightens up my day so much.

Now the color lavender is certainly a fresh color for spring, don’t you think? I think so, so I chose this outfit based around a happy, and refreshing lilac skirt. Full circle skirts are always adorable, and this one has a big bow. Bows add extra cuteness. The weather is still a bit chilly at times so I added a white cardigan with a lace detailing to give a little more dimension.

Always time for a twirl!

I am also wearing not one, but two necklaces! Why two? Why not? Two necklaces means more sparkle and shine. My smaller necklace is a gold and pearl bow. Bows go with anything. Also, because I am wearing two necklaces I chose to have one shorter and one longer so each could be seen clearly in this instance. Chunky and overlapping necklaces are fun too, but for this outfit, it seemed that delicate and tinier pieces kept to the “fresh” spring feel best. The second necklace is a classic strand of pearls. Pearls of course don my ears as well, because not only do they match both necklaces, they go with absolutely anything. Anything!

This was my signature pose as a child, and I still do it. Why? I do not know for sure how it started. 🙂

Hats are my friend, so I took the opportunity to keep the spring colors and sat a pink cloche hat with more bow detailing upon my head. Bows are the major accessory addition in this outfit. My shoes are nude with short heals and my tights are nude-ish and keep my legs warm.

Sometimes I get really excited spinning and spinning in big skirts that I almost lose a heel and fall. Hehe. 🙂 Go enthusiasm! 🙂

Now while this picture was taken toward the end of winter time, I still thought spring was on it’s way so it was absolutely fine for me to get in the spring mood with this apparel. To be honest, I would wear this in a blizzard anyway, but of course it definitely has that spring feel with the pastel hues.

Flowers on Me, Trees Behind Me

Hi folks,

How has your week been? February is coming to an end, but that is okay, next is March, so we go marching on. Today was very, very warm out, and I felt the green growing around me. The trees, and grass were bright and it made me feel great. My outfit matches nature today, actually.


I am wearing a simple colored outfit, but yet I believe it is quite colorful as well. It is an earthy vibe kind of outfit. Let’s start from the shoes. My shoes are purple. Purple is a color that adds a pop and I just love including little touches of it, or many touches in some cases if the situation happens to call, perhaps.


My main outfit piece is a simple dress. I love black dresses, you can do so many things with them and in this case I added a few color statements and it really brought the whole outfit together. My dress has a nifty high collar as well, which I love. The more detail, the more fun for today.

Then I put on a lovely cardigan. It is green and white and floral. Floral is definitely earthy in tone, and I thought it was the way to go today. My necklace is full of white flowers, which matches the cardigan and adds more nature elements to my outfit.

The leaf on my foot, is really a part of nature, accidentally putting one more nature element into my outfit and I love it! 🙂

I also love adding girly things to outfits if I can. I wore a big black bow in my hair to do just that.


I find it fun building outfits around a feeling or environment. Today is was the feeling of nature and spring on its way. Do you like to build outfits around certain feelings or environments?

Well, today’s word is nature. What do you love about nature? I love twirling around pine trees for one thing.

You know what else is amazing about nature, God created the beautiful world full of lovely nature for us to be happy in and I just love remembering this and appreciating everything around me. God and Jesus Christ have love for us that is so beautiful and spending time in nature is one way for me to feel that love from God and Jesus Christ.

Bundling Time Means Accessorizing Time?

Hello once again friends,

The snow was coming down here where I am and I definitely enjoyed it. Nevertheless, the sun peaked out behind the clouds and seems to have warmed up the air, but not quite warm enough to ditch all the sparkly and snazzy accessories that winter weather has to offer.

I took to my matching accessory set to get ready for outdoor frosty weather. My winter coat is white, but has gold buttons and a nice pattern that make the coat seem princess proper in my opinion. I like the idea of feeling like a snowy time princess, so of course this coat is one of my favorite winter time staples. Plus, it is warm, which makes sense. Well, my accessories that I like to wear because I think they are cute and keep my warm are a scarf, gloves and a hat. They are the basic frigid moment warmers. The set is in two of my favorite colors, pink and purple. The pink and purple is a soft tone that matches well with the (well I suppose the new thing I am going with is princess proper) coat. The light hues of the white and gold go kindly with the pinks and purples. The scarf also has gold tones that glitter up the look and bring out the coats gold buttons as well. I think finding a few colors that go greatly with your favorite coat is a very easy way of putting together a functional and fun winter look. The hat also has pink sparkles, and that just adds more sparkle which you can never have enough of.

I really love the light look this look has. 🙂

I added my purple purse of course, and funny I didn’t even notice the gold chain that incorporates the tint once more, right away. Or did I?

The boots are lace up combat boots, which I love. I am not wearing tights, so they keep my legs much toastier and while they are not gold, they are brown which IS close enough to keep the gold shade inclusions going.

The gloves have little bows on them, which is just plain cute! 🙂

I really love going out in this outfit, it makes me feel bundled up in joy (get it? I am bundled, and I am joyful at the same time, so I am double bundled? Yeah). The snow may or may not keep coming, but either way, I can pull out these accessories next year and wear them once again, unless my fingers grow 10 inches in length, in which case I could figure out another way to wear these gloves. There is always another way, folks.

An Excuse to Wear Extra Sweet Colors

Hello my loves,

Do you know what month it is? Do you? Yes, of course I am sure you do, and if you forgot or don’t really care what month it is, I am going to spout it out, well type it really, for you. It is February! Oh my goodness, I love this month. It starts out with a cute, season predicting groundhog named Punxsutawney Phil, and ends on a different date every four years, which of course adds a hint of variation. February also is the home month to Valentine’s Day! Goodness, I love going to the store and seeing all the pinks and purples and sparkles and little sweets fill up the shelves, it is quite pretty, I believe. I also think that means February means I can load up on sugary sweet colors in my outfits, but really I could and will all the time anywho.

To welcome the month of sweethearts and red roses I am wearing a pink hat on top of my head. Of course I have to wear pink, and because it is cold out, I mean it is February, why not wear a hat when you can? That is how I like to think. Of course there is no need to if you aren’t a hat lover as well. Then right on my feet are pink flats. There I have pink mixed into my outfit in the accessories, simple, however I have a Valentine’s Day color right in my outfit and it definitely adds to the sugar colored look.

Can you tell I am happy? Oh sweet February, I love you. 🙂

Then I had to wear tights, because it is cold, you know? I think polka dots are surely a “sweet” print that is romantic and cute, which is why I put on a black and white polka dot dress. I topped off the outfit with a white cardigan with a lacey pattern on the front, which is just one more added “sweet” detail. Pearls on my neck and pearls in my ears complete the February outfit in a “sweet” way.

Polka, polka, polka dots, they certainly rock. 🙂

Did you notice that the shades of pink in my hat and shoes are different? That is totally fine. Flowers are beautiful and they come in multiple shades all in one bouquet! 🙂

I love loving people and animals and flowers and everything in between, but you know who else I certainly love? I love God and I love Jesus, and I know for certain they both love us! Isn’t that a lovely feeling?

A Twirl of Red

Good evening lovely folks,

One of the reasons today was just purely amazing was that it is now winter and there is snow on the ground and it it cold out, which makes me very happy. Winter is my favorite season. I love you other seasons, you are lovely too, but winter you are my pal. Winter is dark and bright, it is snowy, which means sparkly snowflakes, it is chilly which calls for bundling up in cute coats and snazzy leg warmers with printed tights, and it is also the time of year where we have Christmas, and all the wondrous holidays. Today I took the opportunity of a few days old, but still fabulous and glittering piles of snow around a few pine trees and did a little twirly or two in a vintage-y bright red floral swing dress.

See the bow? It matches perfectly in color and it is classy like the floral swing dress itself. 🙂

I am wearing a red and black floral dress with a mainly white backdrop to the fancy flowers that decorate it from top to bottom. Red is a magnificent color, it is bright and stands out. I love that the dress is long as well, which is perfect for winter and an extra speedy spin. I am wearing black flats, because they match anything and they look classy with my dress. I put on black tights for added style and of course, warmth! There is snow on the ground. 🙂

The dress is a swing dress which means it is nice and full! 🙂

Now I love lots of prints and designs, so I added a black sweater which adds warmth as well, but it has a cute little zebra on it. The sweater does not look crazy with the flowers, I think the zebra goes nicely as there isn’t too much print. Trying to put prints together that look nice and not overly crazy is pretty fun, and crazy really does look nice too. I gave the outfit a pearl necklace with a tiny black ribbon tied in a bow as it goes along with the vintage look, and pearl earrings. Pearls are classy and match anything. Hats are another great accessory that just make and outfit even more stylish. This hat’s black and white color and big bow couldn’t match better to my overall outfit! 🙂

This dress is so fun to twirl in! We can show God our love with a dance! 🙂

Now that it is winter I love waiting for days where I look out the window and see snowflake after snowflake glisten it’s way down to the ground waiting to stack into a freezing and sparkly blanket over the land. I become quite excited when I see a snow coming because it just calls for dancing in it. What could be better than a spin the snow, and letting the snow fall upon your cheeks? It is such a happy feeling, at least too me.

You know what is also great about a spin in the snow? It is dancing and dancing is amazing for it is a way to show our love to God. We can dance for him and dance because of him. 🙂

This calls for putting on our fun dresses and going for a twirl in the snow! God is amazing. 🙂

Happy with a Hat

Hello folks! Ah, today I have one of my favorite things to wear upon my head on, a hat! Yes, I love hats. I have cloche hats, apple caps, beanie hats, baseball caps, all kinds of hats, and sparkly and knit and everything in between from bows to simple hats. 🙂 Today I am wearing one of my favorite hats of all, it is pink and it is a cloche hat, with a big bow and a sparkly gem right in the middle of the bow. Many of my clothes match each other, so I find myself being able to wear this hat all the time if I want too.

Now I have on a rather fun little outfit. I feel like my colors are very chilly weather-y, and bright, but not extremely bright which makes me feel like I fit right in with the atmosphere of the oranges, yellows and reds surrounding me. 🙂

I have on a red pair of tights, which I love wearing colored rights with anything, but especially dresses or skirts that are a more neutral color, as it adds a little color. Neutral is good too, if you like that, as I sometimes do, however today I wanted to look quite autumn-ish. I am wearing little black flats, they are comfy and match almost everything. My dress is a gray fit and flare, it isn’t too short, but still shows off my red tights. I also am wearing a longer yellow cardigan, which is yet another natural kind of color, which I love very much. I added a pearl necklace and pearl earrings to finish off the outfit. However, to top of the outfit off, top it off, oh yes, I am wearing a hat! Yes, hats can go with anything and they add more sparkle, even if the hat isn’t sparkly, which is always a great touch. 🙂

I love that by putting something as fun and quick as a hat is on, that it can take an outfit to a whole new level. Wearing any kind of hat that you like, shows off who you are. There are many kinds of hats, but they are still hats. You can wear a different hat from someone else and be the lovely you, but you are both stylish. God created us all different from each other which is beautiful, but we are all still his little ones. 🙂 Be happy and know that it’s okay to be individually you. 🙂

I love hats and that makes me happy, but I also know God loves us, and that is enough to make me happy. 🙂

Pops and Sparkles

Good morning folks! How is your day, mine is cloudy, but I awoke nice and early and started the day off just right, as I hope you are enjoying your day too, whether it be sunny, rainy or maybe even full of a bit of cold snow. The outfit I am showing today is quite fun, as it has lace, sparkles, a collar and little tie. It has a lot of tiny details that make for a sparkly look.

Of course I added a sweater, I do love them. You can make the bow as big and you want or as small as you want for more personalization. 🙂

The first part I am showing you of my outfit will be the top. As you can see I am wearing a nice black top, it’s a bit silky and I wore a black tank top underneath in case it was a bit see through. The top is extremely comfortable, which is one of the reasons I love to wear it. Plus, the silky fabric of the top goes well with the sparkly aspect of the skirt, although I am sure any fabric would go great with the sparkly skirt. Another reason I love to wear it is because of the collar and tie. Collars are always nifty little things because they give flair to a top without adding to much, but just enough. A bonus of this collar is that it has lace, which is one of my favorite kinds of fabric in the whole world. So a collar which is already extra feature is made even more “extra” with the lace. So collars are great additions and if you can find one with a little extra snazzle on it, that’s just another way to add on to your outfit showing your personality if you’d like. The top adds yet another feature with it’s pink silky tie! The pink silky tie is so cute, I love bows and that’s just what it adds, and the silk like the black silky top itself, goes great with the skirt that is quite shiny.

I love fall leaves. 🙂

The skirt is a personality skirt all in its own. It’s a heavier material which lets it stick out and look full. It’s also full of sparkles, and that’s what makes this outfit pop even more. Adding pops and sparkles gives just one more unique addition to your outfit. The skirt is black and gold which matches the top as it is a black shirt, and the gold I think it quite pretty with the pink. I’m wearing plain black tights which keep me warm and keep the outfit sweet as the skirt is a bit short, but long enough to wear without tights. I think tights add  more color and more personal touch to outfits, though. Then I have little heeled black flats which blend with the tights and give me extra height which is a bonus and just extra cuteness overall in regards to the outfit, which I love.

Pops of fun from the sparkle on the skirt to the lace collar and pink bow are great features to and outfit’s overall look. 🙂

Putting together an outfit for the day that contains multiple different pieces and details is easy and special. As long you think the collar or the fabric or the pattern looks cool and shows off who you are, then go with it. It’s never to much or too little if you like it! 🙂

Now God gives us confidence to be the people we are, and he loves us and loves what makes us different from others. Don’t be afraid to wear that extremely sparkly collar or that rainbow bowtie or green and purple skirt with rhinos on it. It makes you you! 🙂

It’s a Quick Day and a Lovely Day

Hello folks, good afternoon, it’s finally fall! I feel happy all year around, but when fall comes around I feel a sort of happy that I just love absolutely. Pictures of pumpkins come to my mind, the smell of baked goods come to my nose, and nights of dancing with my team at football games on cold nights bring a smile to my mouth. I love fall. 🙂

Looking outside I see the sunshine and I see the green grass, I see my little doggies being cute, I see a great day for riding my bike and I also see a great day to be happy. Sometimes when I have a lot going on, I get a little nervous and forget to do things that make me feel good. Today I tried not to think so much about everything going on today, tomorrow and the next day. Today I woke up, got dressed and got to talk to a couple of my lovely friends which definitely left me feeling even better.

When we have family, friends, people, anyone, in our life that we can talk to and leave feeling happier, I think that’s a beautiful thing. Hanging out with my friends and talking for the time we did, made me forgot about everything I have going on and just enjoy having lovely people in my life. I hope you all have those people too, and know that having them around is a great way to feel happy, and if not, I would love to be that person you can talk too, and be happy. 🙂

Now family and friends make for a lovely day, but what makes for the quick day I mentioned in the title? A easy outfit that is. I didn’t feel like thinking to much about my clothes this morning, I wanted my outfit to be cute, yes, but I also wanted to leave and hang out with my friends. I didn’t want to have the trouble of looking for a perfect outfit. Afterall, my perfect outfit may not be your thought of a perfect outfit, and that’s what is perfect! 🙂

I have a black and white fit and flare style dress with a blue and white polka dot cardigan on. Polka dots are a lovely way to add fun to an outfit. Then my shoes are pink/purple flats, which add even more color to an outfit, which I don’t think there is anything as too much color. I think the quick pairing of this outfit was okay, it’s cozy and cute. 🙂

Quick and colorful and cute outfits don’t have to be take a lot of time 🙂

I am very grateful for my family and friends for the happy thoughts they bring me, and I hope you are happy as well! 🙂  Enjoying everyday and having a happy day is a great thing and when I’m feeling sad I like to remember that God has given us each day to live and that alone is enough to make me smile very much!          Damp Day means for a Denim Day

Good evening friends! As of right now, the rain outside my window is pittering and pattering its way to the ground from the clouds, and I can’t help but smile! I do love the rain, and the cloudy and damp weather, especially with a cup of tea in my hand (maybe I’ll go get some after this).🙂 You know what I think is one of the best things to wear on a day that is damp, or possibly considered dreary (a good dreary), DENIM! Denim goes with everything, plus it is warm, which helps for the rainy days that come with a little wind. Today I chose to put on a denim dress. Denim dresses are cute, classy, casual, yet warm, cozy and stylish. My mother actually gave me this dress from her closet, and whenever the chance calls for it, I wear it.

One of my favorite things about this dress, is the pockets! Yes, pockets!🙂

Let’s start at the pockets! This dress has pockets! Denim and pockets just makes for a great pairing on a rainy day. Pockets can keep your hands warm and dry, and anything else you need to carry warm and dry.  My shoes are white tennis shoes, and I paired them with white socks, because white goes with anything, and not to mention tennis shoes are practical for rainy days. Another cute thing about these pockets is the cute little design on them. I love extra fun details and who doesn’t love delicate denim details? Ooo, that was alliteration.🙂

Adding pearls always works for a little sparkle.🙂

20160908_181434The pearls on the necklace also match my earrings. I chose a black, longer sleeve shirt to wear with the denim dress because black matches everything and the longer sleeves keep you warm. I matched my necklace ribbon to my hair ribbon. I loved the idea of a black ribbon with my side braid because it matched my black shirt, and this pearl necklace also had a black ribbon tied in a bow. My sister gave me this necklace and I love putting it on with any outfit I can. 🙂 Finding little matching pieces is a nifty way to bring an outfit together.🙂

Denim keeps still, so there is not so much a chance of the wind blowing it up.🙂

The full outfit, is cute and comfortable and classy. It’s long, warm, and fun. That is what I think means for a great outfit and a lovely rainy and damp day outfit. If you put your own spin on a denim dress or denim anything, adding pearls or anything you like, I believe you just created your own unique style.🙂

                            Blues and Pinks

Hello folks! Today I decided on wearing two of my favorite colors ever to wear. I wanted to wear a dress, because, they are my favorite kind of clothing to wear, but I did also want to wear certain colors. Those colors are, blue and pink! Some days I know exactly what I want to wear whether it be a dress with polka dots or a purple dress with a green cardigan. Today it was a dress, and blue and pink. When you have an idea of what you want to wear, go for it, it’ll make you happy, whether it be a certain style, print, color, fabric or anything else, you’re the one wearing the outfit, so choose for you. In particular, choosing an outfit based on colors is a great way to show off your style and be happy in your clothes, because we all have colors we love, I love every color, which does mean for a few hard decisions at times, but lots of options. I am drawn to blues and pinks and I think they work nicely together. Picking certain colors you love means you can definitely create an outfit that’s fun for you no matter if it is orange and gray, yellow and green or blue and blue and a little dash of red too.

I love blue, I find it classy and it goes with anything and everything. I particularly love to wear a navy blue, its a darker blue, yet not too dark, because today I was going for a bit lighter. I used a navy blue dress as my outfit’s base. I love wearing pink because it’s, it’s pink, (pink reminds me of sugary cookies, I love sugar cookies), and it’s my favorite color in the world, therefore I used pink to accessorize today by pulling on a light pink cardigan.

Another reason I love this outfit is because the dress is fit and flare, which looks super cute with a top-buttoned cardigan (which I almost always button the top button), and it has fun little white stripes which adds extra niftyness. The cardigan too, adds some nifty, with the sparkly top.

I think little necklaces are quite adorable with cardigans.🙂

I wore a pair of sparkly shoes, because I am always trying to add sparkle to my day and clothes, and a pink bow in my hair, to continue accessorizing with pink. My earrings are pearls, which I think go with everything. Adding fun little accessorizes is a neat way show off your style in a nice way. My necklace is a little teacup, which is blue (blue is one of my colors today) and it’s a unique touch. My Granny and Gramps bought it for my for Christmas, and I love wearing it, they are lovely.🙂

You can make any colors you want match, just believe that you can.🙂

I feel good in my outfit today, it’s comfy, which I find dresses rather comfy, and the colors make me feel good. Picking colors is just one of many ways to be happy in your clothing, no matter your style. Sometimes it’s hard to narrow down to just a few colors, so if you want, have fun and wear all the colors of the rainbow! I love rainbows, and am thankful for them, they are a beautiful and lovely gift from God.🙂

Rainbows are full of colors and let us know God loves us forever. Incorporating those colors of the rainbow into our outfits to express ourselves is a lovely reminder of the gift of color and love we receive from God.🙂

                           Jackets and Pants

Hi there! So the other day I was feeling very inspired by GREASE! I love musicals (You better shape up, cause I need a man, and my heart is set on youuuuoouu), yeah singing is one of my pastimes. Anyway, I love Sandy’s red lipstick and leather jacket look. She totally rocks it. I however am probably not going to look in my closet and find an exact outfit, I would rather create my own. I found a cute collared sweater with a little heart print all over and decided that would be the base. I also felt to add a bit of girly, pearls would be a lovely touch. My top outfit is already done! (You can also see I curled my hair, which was also something I liked about Sandy’s do’ in “You’re the One That I Want)

Leather jackets are warm for colder days!

Now onto the bottoms! Pants, pants pants! I am a big fan of dresses, hence the reason I don’t have a ton of pants in my drawers, however, I saw this adorable pair of black and white pants at the store one day, and knew they were something I would wear. Pairing the pants with a pop of color, alongside the rest of the black and white outfit, actually made me smile.

A color shoe can add a nice pop of color to more neutral style choices.

Once I finished putting the outfit together, I curled up my hair and debated on pearl earrings or no pearl earrings. Either way is fine, because after all, it’s your outfit and you can wear it however you want, jewelry or no jewelry, shoes or no shoes. I love wearing this outfit because it makes me feel strong and ready to sing at any moment. Maybe it’s the hair?🙂

I feel today is a good day for singing, especially in my Sandy outfit. However, any day is a good day to burst out in a little bit of harmony, because it is simply fun! You can sing, don’t think you can’t! Before I go I wanted to share a Bible verse about song with you. “Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!” Pslam 95:1

If you don’t believe that you, yourself can sing, then please do. Have confidence! We all can have the confidence to believe in ourselves, and you deserve that confidence. I’ll sing a song with you, if you would like, let’s be happy! Singing is an easy way to make us happy, right?

                          Simple Sweater

Hello there everybody! Happy day and happy fall. The leaves are changing to lovely shades of yellows and reds, the skies are chilly and covered in clouds, and the air is windy yet peaceful. It is one of my favorite times of the year, not only because pumpkin pie sits on the dinner table or Halloween is right around the corner, but because of the STYLE! Yes, sweaters, hats, oxfords and did I say sweaters? Today I looked outside and saw the beautiful day ahead of me. The air smelled fresh and cool and the leaves rustled softy in the wind. It has sprinkled on and off throughout the day and I have to say, I love it!

So today when I was scouring through my clothing I decided to go for something cute, and warm. I just bought a couple new (a bit big) sweaters that just make me feel cozy inside. I was in a yellow kind of mood and decided to pair my yellow sweater with some classic polka dots. You really can’t go wrong when picking a base print and a nice sweater to finish off and keep warm on top. I then slipped on some comfortable black jeans and black oxfords. Oxfords are classy and fashionable, and adding them to finish off an outfit, is not a bad idea at all!

Sweaters, prints, and nifty shoes are an easy way to put a quick outfit on that will get you through the frosty fall days of the year.

Before I go I want to share a verse that makes me think of how DELIGHTFUL the outdoors are during this time of year, ” 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.” John 1:3 (NIV) Looking outside this morning and seeing the trees and feeling the breeze, reminds me of how AMAZING our Lord is, and the gift of nature he gives us every day!
